Following different paths that get you to a place you regularly go to just give you a different perspective.

We went to feed the ducks on my eldest’s last day of school, and the last school day I would have with my little one who will be starting full time school in September.

We got to see the geese from behind first before they started chasing us and honking at each other. It was a moment of peace seeing them huddled together before the madness of pushing each other to peck the feed.

The peaceful perspective allowed us to see how much the geese cared about each other before we were seen and changed their environment showed they could collaborate and care for each other.

It’s important in business change to observe in different ways. You will see the best, and you will see the worst. Change is unsettling, but if you take the time to understand the current playing field, you can capture the essence without disturbing it too much.
