What would you do if you won the lottery?
Is this a subjective or objective question?
The lottery means so many things to different people.
Personally, I wouldn’t play the lottery, it doesn’t give me the thrill of hard work to achieve well deserved success. It just doesn’t align with my values.
However, making a decision in your business that is high risk, high reward but thoroughly calculated and researched? Go for it!
Last year we saw what it was like to be in hospital with a small child, her health is the lottery win for me. A small beam of pride when she’s achieved something is a win for me. A glowing pride in one of our children’s eyes when they see how impressed we are with their achievements- priceless.
Let’s give that lottery feeling to our teams. It shouldn’t be the norm to remember few great managers and leaders, it should be all and we should find it hard to choose.
Let’s make leadership so effective it is like a lottery win.
