It’s been a while since I’ve posted and that is because we are enjoying our outdoors time again after the two week isolation. It’s been great just to get in the fresh air, cycle up a hill (Phew!) and then whizz down again just like freedom. It’s almost the feeling of starting something new and something fresh; It’s daunting to go back out again but it is exhilerating when you do.
Whenever I’ve started a new job or a new project, it is very exciting and I just want to do everything in it. I love meeting the new team, maybe being in different surroundings, learning new things, achieving something more. There is a nervousness that you feel in the pit of your stomach that is a slight cautiousness but also adrenaline. The picture is of my younger daughter on a swing asking to go higher and higher- what I didn’t realise is that this swing seat isn’t as balanced and as I thought she would nearly fall with my heart in my mouth trying to catch her, she cheered and said ‘I did a loop the loop’. She felt like she did one, and why not, she was over the moon, she felt the adrenaline rush. The excitement of doing the same thing in a different way can also give us that thrill and anticipation that we have been waiting for a long time.
I’ve missed the blogging, but didn’t want to write something that didn’t have meaning to me. It’s interesting how much Covid has drawn me to the outdoors, made me see a difference in walking vs. looking up at the sky and taking it all in. It’s made me see everything in new eyes like the children do all of the time. I went on the swing afterwards, I didn’t loop the loop (sorry) but I did feel high and free with the countryside and made my daughters giggle.

This is very nice

Thanks Chaz James, how do you get your adrenaline in your career or studies or hobbies?

Thanks, this is rather insightful.
Thank you I have a lot to grateful for at such a tough time. Understanding this doesn’t mean that I will just accept what I get given I shall continue to strive for success. Continual improvement. Knowing that areas of weakness are now areas of development.
